Job Description
The Developer will be responsible for designing, developing cutting-edge healthcare software solutions, specifically HMIS, BBMIS, Triage, Token system, PACS Database, Oracle, MYSQL, android- development, system integration & dashboard development.
The role ensures seamless integration of clinical, administrative, and financial modules to support efficient hospital operations and improve patient care delivery. Further, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that improve patient care, streamline clinical workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Design, develop, and maintain HMIS software applications, including patient management, billing, and clinical information systems.
- Design, code, test, and deploy modules for HMIS and related hospital applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet clinical and operational needs; customize HMIS workflows to align with hospital policies and clinical requirements.
- Develop APIs and integration solutions with laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, billing, and other healthcare systems.
- Provide technical support for HMIS end-users including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Troubleshoot system issues, resolve bugs, and ensure high system availability.
- Maintain system documentation, technical manuals, and user guides.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and reports for clinical and management decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all HMIS modules.
- Develop dashboards and analytics tools to support hospital performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to analyze workflows and recommend system improvements.
- Work with stakeholders, including head of departments and designers, to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards HL7, EHR, ICD-10.
- Participate in audits, security checks, and data protection initiatives.
- Work with vendors, consultants, and internal IT teams for system upgrades and new module implementations.
- Participate in requirement gathering, feasibility analysis, and project documentation.
- Train end-users on HMIS functionalities and provide ongoing support.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security through rigorous testing and debugging.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including testing and validation.
- Track timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with IHHN policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
