Job Description
Assess patients before dialysis (vital signs, weight, medical history) Prepare and operate dialysis machines and equipment Insert needles for vascular access (AV fistula, graft, or catheter) Monitor patients during dialysis for complications (e.g., low blood pressure, cramps) Administer medications as prescribed (e.g., heparin, iron, erythropoietin) Maintain strict infection control and hygiene standards Respond quickly to emergencies during dialysis Educate patients on diet, fluid restrictions, and lifestyle changes Document treatment details and patient progress accurately Collaborate with nephrologists and healthcare team members Note: “Indus Hospital & Health Network is an employer that does not tolerate Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.
