Job Description
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
- Manage and supervise to ensure the requirements inventory system is properly maintained.
- Assisting Deputy Manager/Manager in various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisal, disciplinary actions, staffing schedules and employee development.
- Supervise to ensure Compliance of SOPs & Process flows as defined by IHHN.
- Maintain financial reports and records pertinent to warehouse operations.
- Supervise and manage to ensure goods and stock are properly handled, placed, and segregated category-wise for identification.
- Make sure that goods are correctly issued to concerned departments on FIFO/FEFO basis, as approved and documented.
- Ensure physical stock is maintained as per optimum levels determined by monthly consumption and stock in hand.
- Supervise and manage to ensure all material is properly handled during loading, unloading and transportation.
- Follow the advice of Deputy Manager/Manager for the resolution of internal problems or smoothing of inconsistencies. Coordinate Deputy Manager/Manager immediately in case of any discrepancy or important information related to warehouse.
- Manage the proper documentation and activities for receiving loan from specific supplier, and issue loan to specific suppliers as per protocol.
- Manage activity sheets and EDLs of all store staff.
- Ensure Short expiry management.
- Manage & review of Slow moving / fast moving / dead stock identification & management.
- Manage the proper disposal of condemned items, after inspection and approval of Condemnation Committee.
- Manage & Continuous review of inventory management system. Identifying loop holes and their solutions for improving overall system.
- Perform any other task assigned by the Head of Department and/or by the management that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
