Job Description

  • Prepare patients for hemodialysis treatment as per prescribed by physician.
  • Monitor vital signs before, during, and after dialysis sessions.
  • Observe patients for complications and promptly inform nursing/medical staff.
  • Set up and operate dialysis machines according to protocol; monitor machine parameters during treatment.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and reporting of technical faults.
  • Maintain equipment checklists and logs.
  • Oversee daily dialysis sessions and patient scheduling; monitor patient treatment flow, and machine allocation.
  • Monitor patient care during hemodialysis and address clinical concerns promptly.
  • Ensure proper documentation of treatment records.
  • Monitor disinfection procedures and water quality reports.
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention protocols.
  • Assist in machine disinfection, vascular access care, and waste disposal.
  • Report equipment breakdowns, stock shortages, and clinical incidents.
  • Coordinate with Nephrology, ICU, ER, and other departments as required.
  • Support incident reporting and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure proper functioning and preventive maintenance of dialysis machines and RO plant.
  • Monitor dialysis adequacy indicators and patient safety metrics.
  • Reduced incidence of complications and adverse events; streamlined processes leading to more efficient care delivery.
  • Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
