Job Description
- Prepare patients for hemodialysis treatment as per prescribed by physician.
- Monitor vital signs before, during, and after dialysis sessions.
- Observe patients for complications and promptly inform nursing/medical staff.
- Set up and operate dialysis machines according to protocol; monitor machine parameters during treatment.
- Ensure proper maintenance and reporting of technical faults.
- Maintain equipment checklists and logs.
- Oversee daily dialysis sessions and patient scheduling; monitor patient treatment flow, and machine allocation.
- Monitor patient care during hemodialysis and address clinical concerns promptly.
- Ensure proper documentation of treatment records.
- Monitor disinfection procedures and water quality reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention protocols.
- Assist in machine disinfection, vascular access care, and waste disposal.
- Report equipment breakdowns, stock shortages, and clinical incidents.
- Coordinate with Nephrology, ICU, ER, and other departments as required.
- Support incident reporting and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Ensure proper functioning and preventive maintenance of dialysis machines and RO plant.
- Monitor dialysis adequacy indicators and patient safety metrics.
- Reduced incidence of complications and adverse events; streamlined processes leading to more efficient care delivery.
- Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
