Job Description
- Receive flour from stores and preparing high-quality dough using appropriate ingredients like flour and water as per the requirement; examine the quality of flour, reject if found substandard.
- Shaping and cooking various types of flatbreads, including naan, chapatis, and parathas, puri on a tawa (griddle) or tandoor (clay oven) as needed.
- Ensuring that the cooked rotis are soft, fluffy, perfectly cooked, and meet quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic cooking area, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Monitoring stock of essential ingredients for roti preparation, such as flour, oil, and ghee, and informing supervisor when supplies are low.
- Assisting other kitchen staff with meal preparation and other duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Support security protocols, ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and secure and maintain service excellence standards.
- Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor.
