Experience
Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in academic administration, preferably within a university, college, or healthcare education setting.
Education
Master's degree (MS/MPhil or MBA) in a relevant field such as Health Sciences, Education Management, Business Administration, or Public Administration from an HEC-recognized institution.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain semester-wise academic calendars in coordination with the department heads.
- Prepare and finalize course timetables, examination schedules, and room allocations ensuring minimal conflicts.
- Coordinate with faculty to ensure timely submission of course outlines, syllabi, and reading materials before each semester.
- Track and manage credit-hour loads per faculty in compliance with HEC and institutional guidelines.
- Facilitate the course coordinators in IT, finance, registration, and enrollment processes.
- Facilitate board of studies in communication with various course coordinators for all course-related matters.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all courses, policies, and correspondence.
- Maintain updated record of all the courses and course-related feedback at end of every course.
- Prepare periodic academic reports and summaries for senior management as required.
- Coordinate departmental meetings, workshops, and seminars, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
Required Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Urdu.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling academic records.
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and administrative staff across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
