Education

Bachelors/ Master's degree in Human Resources/ Law/ Psychology, or a related field. Certification in HR, Labor Law or Psychology would be an advantage.

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters across the campus.
  • Address employee grievances promptly and effectively, ensuring fairness, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Provide advice to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Support the resolution of workplace conflicts through counselling, mediation, and other interventions.
  • Maintain detailed records of employee relations cases, grievances, and disciplinary actions in soft data form and also fil relevant document to employee personnel files.
  • Investigate misconduct or policy violations in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare investigation reports and recommend disciplinary actions in line with ICoE determinations of violations referred in Employee Relations policy.
  • Coordinate and facilitate domestic inquiries including disciplinary committee and anti-workplace harassment committee, ensuring due process and documentation.
  • Forward financial embezzlement cases to Internal Audit and patient related complaints to Quality & Monitoring Directorate; also, facilitate them when needed.
  • Monitor corrective actions and ensure compliance with outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation and implementation of Employee Relation’s policies and procedures.
  • Keep updated on labor laws and regulatory requirements; ensure organizational compliance.
  • Perform employee degree verification through third-party vendor within due time as per policy and make follow-ups for the completion of process.
  • Perform employee reference check and ensure the completeness with the record.
  • Conduct Indus Code of Ethics (ICoE) sessions regularly to spread awareness among employees.
  • Support audits and provide data or reports as required.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and respect.
  • Prepare periodic reports on ER cases, disciplinary trends, and engagement outcomes.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
