Data Reporting Officer (Quetta) - Monitoring and Evaluation Accountability and Learning

Experience

• 2 years of Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in a similar role. • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) • Knowledge of database management and querying languages (e.g., SQL) to retrieve and manipulate data. • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and methodologies. • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large and complex data sets. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations. • Familiarity with data governance and data management principles.

Job Description

  1. Collect and compile data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  2. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights for informed decision-making.
  3. Maintain and manage data reporting systems, databases, and overall information management workflows.
  4. Hands-on experience with DHIS2 is required, including system configuration, data entry, data validation, and MIS management within DHIS2 platforms.
  5. Practical experience with DHIS2 Capture App (Web and/or Android) is required, including event/tracker data entry, troubleshooting data entry issues, and ensuring proper synchronization of field data.
  6. Generate regular reports, and develop dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate data insights.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure timely delivery of accurate reports.
  8. Monitor data quality and resolve discrepancies, inconsistencies, and errors in datasets and DHIS2-based reporting systems.
  9. Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  10. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement through DHIS2 workflow optimization and data analysis.
  11. Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor in support of program objectives.
  12. Any other task assigned by supervisor.
