Dialysis Engineer Biomedical must be capable of performing the assigned task and jobs independently, capable of troubleshooting, Installation, Calibration and performing of preventive maintenance independently.
TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ability to diagnose the fault of medical equipment independently.
Capable of reading the schematic and service manual for repair and maintenance work.
Have understanding of local regulation and compliance related with health care industry.
Can effectively communicate through reports and email when required.
Need to perform the preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
Perform the technical inspection of new Equipments and spares when arrived in the hospital.
Provide technical assistance to end-users related with equipment usage and safety aspects.
Performed related task and jobs assigned by superiors.
Have understanding of safety aspects related with environmental conditions and electrical requirement for medical equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Execute routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs on hemodialysis machines, peritoneal cyclers, and ancillary equipment.
- Water Systems: Install, sanitize, and calibrate critical water treatment systems (e.g., Reverse Osmosis units) that supply ultrapure water for treatments.
- Safety & Calibration: Ensure all devices meet federal, state, and manufacturer safety protocols by testing electrical conductivity, fluid dynamics, and temperature controls.
- Staff Training: Instruct clinical staff (nurses and technicians) on the safe and proper operation of machinery, alarm troubleshooting, and basic preventive care.
- Documentation: Maintain rigorous logs of equipment performance, repairs, and calibration to satisfy health inspection standards and internal compliance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and storage of technical parts, replacement filters, and specialized testing tools.
