Job Description

Locations:

Pishin 

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

· Perform patient consultations, clinical examinations, and medical history assessments.

· Diagnose and treat illnesses in accordance with national guidelines and organizational SOPs.

· Manage acute and chronic conditions, including emergency cases.

· Prescribe medications rationally and ensure proper treatment plans.

· Conduct regular ward rounds and monitor admitted patients.

· Provide maternal and child health services where applicable.

· Ensure timely referral of complicated cases to higher-level facilities.

· Respond to medical emergencies promptly and provide life-saving interventions.

· Stabilize critical patients prior to referral or admission.

· Lead or support triage processes when required.

· Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and clinical files.

· Ensure proper documentation of referrals, follow-up cases, and drug prescriptions.

· Prepare daily/weekly reports as required by management or donors.

· Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians, and other clinical staff.

· Support and supervise clinical assistants or junior staff if assigned.

· Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and mortality reviews.

· Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols.

· Follow rational drug-use guidelines and manage controlled medications responsibly.

· Maintain patient confidentiality, dignity, and ethical medical practices.

· Participate in trainings, CME sessions, and performance evaluations.

· Any other task assigned by supervisor.
