Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate orientation and onboarding programs for newly hired laboratory staff.
- Plan, organize, and monitor technical training, annual competency assessments, and continuing education activities for laboratory personnel.
- Develop and maintain training calendars, competency records, attendance logs, and educational documentation in compliance with CAP accreditation requirements.
- Assist laboratory leadership in identifying training needs through competency assessments, quality indicators, audit findings, incident reports, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor staff competency and ensure timely completion of mandatory education and annual competency assessments.
- Maintain training documentation to ensure audit readiness during CAP and other accreditation inspections.
- Coordinate internal workshops, seminars, Continuing Medical Education (CME), and technical skill development programs.
- Support implementation of quality improvement initiatives related to education, competency management, and laboratory best practices.
- Liaise with internal departments and external training providers to facilitate educational activities.
