Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and monitor training and competency programs for Clinical Laboratory staff.
  • Develop and maintain annual training calendars, orientation programs, and competency assessment schedules.
  • Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) in collaboration with laboratory leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with CAP accreditation standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements related to staff training and competency.
  • Coordinate onboarding, technical training, cross-training, continuing education.
  • Develop and update training materials, competency checklists, SOP-based learning resources, and presentations.
  • Monitor competency assessments and maintain accurate, audit-ready training documentation.
  • Generate periodic reports and dashboards on training compliance, competency status, and key performance indicators.
  • Participate in CAP inspections, quality improvement projects, and departmental strategic initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the departmental leadership.
