Job Description
Ensure smooth operation of Diesel generators. Verify the safety / parameters of gensets daily and maintain daily logs/ reports of generator sets. Perform all kind of Preventive, Corrective & Breakdown of Equipment maintenance in the assigned domain. Coordinate regarding any complaints or requisitions and with vendors related to the generator's maintenance. Monitor and ensure maintenance of fuel, radiator water and oil levels in the generator sets daily. Monitor and ensure maintenance of generator radiator and dynamo belts tension. Record hourly readings of the generator while being used. These include oil pressure, water temperature, load on each phase, physical condition of turbo chargers, etc. Ensure working condition of the generator sets but monitoring smoke levels from the exhaust.
