Job Summary:
Provide clinical nutrition care through patient assessment, individualized diet plans, counseling, and nutrition consultations. Ensure timely documentation and compliance with clinical nutrition standards and hospital policies. Coordinate effectively with physicians, nursing, dietitians, and other healthcare staff, while supporting clinical nutrition operations, on-call duties, and assigned tasks.
Task & Accountabilities:
· Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
· Provide and monitor inpatient and outpatient clinical nutrition services.
· Coordinate with physicians, dietitians, nursing, FSS, and other departments.
· Develop and implement nutrition-related SOPs, policies, guidelines, and patient education materials.
· Monitor therapeutic diets, enteral/TPN nutrition, and patient outcomes.
· Conduct nutrition training for dietitians, interns, residents, and healthcare staff.
· Ensure compliance with departmental, hospital, and quality standards.
· Handle patient complaints and ensure timely resolution.
· Participate in clinical rounds, research, quality improvement, and health-promotion activities.
· Manage procurement and approved nutrition supplements/products.
· Maintain accurate documentation and records.
· Perform other duties assigned by the HOD.
