Key Responsibilities
Patient Registration: Collect personal data, insurance details, and emergency contact information from incoming patients or their families.
Greeting and Directing: Welcome visitors, patients, and emergency responders, directing them quickly to the proper triage or care areas.
Communication Hub: Answer phone calls, transfer messages, and update electronic tracking boards to connect doctors, nurses, and other departments.
Record Keeping: Document patient visits, maintain strict confidentiality, and organize medical files or admission packs.
Support Tasks: Assist with basic transport needs, manage visitor inquiries, and handle patient valuables safely when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Communication: Clear and calm verbal skills to deal with stressed patients or families.
Multitasking: Ability to work fast and stay organized under high-pressure emergency situations.
Computer Literacy: Basic skills to operate office equipment and digital hospital databases.
