Job Description


TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

The ICCM Program & Data Officer will support the implementation, coordination, monitoring, data management, and reporting of ICCM activities at the district level. Under the technical guidance of the Manager Programs & Communication and in coordination with the Provincial Team, the officer will:

1.    Support district-level implementation, coordination, and monitoring of ICCM activities, including expansion and service delivery.

2.     Coordinate with government departments, LHS/FPs, CHWs, reporting health facilities, district teams, partners, and other stakeholders.

3.   Support planning and organization of MRMs, DRMs, JMVs, trainings, workshops, and other program activities.

4.       Support CHW mapping, deployment, training, orientation, follow-up, and maintenance of related records.

5.   Collect, compile, enter, maintain, and manage ICCM data using approved tools and reporting systems, including DHIS2.

6.       Compile and review monthly reports from CHWs and reporting health facilities and ensure timely submission to the Provincial Team.

7.     Analyze program data, track key indicators, prepare regular reports, and provide data for program planning and decision-making.

8.      Review and verify data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, including FM1/FM2 registers, referral slips, and other source documents.

9.   Conduct data validation, spot checks, and supportive supervisory visits to improve reporting quality and compliance.

10.    Verify reported commodity utilization, including RDTs, against stock records and reported service delivery, as applicable.

11.    Maintain organized electronic and physical records of program, training, monitoring, and reporting activities.

12.   Support preparation of work plans, budgets, progress reports, budget-versus-expenditure statements, and other program documentation.

13.  Support preparation of correspondence, meeting minutes, presentations, success stories, and logistical arrangements for program activities.

14.    Provide orientation and technical support to relevant staff on data collection, reporting procedures, and data quality, and ensure compliance with program, donor, and government requirements.

15.   Share regular updates on program progress, data, gaps, and challenges with the supervisor and Provincial Team and perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.
