Job Description
The Midwife provide care and education to a woman throughout pregnancy (antennal period), during labor, birth and the post-partum period. She must work effectively, independently and with a multi-disciplinary/multi-cultural team for the provision of evidence-based quality care. This includes being responsible for assisting deliveries under supervision of gynecologist and for the immediate and on-going care of the normal new-born. In addition, she participates in early identification of maternal and fetal complications.
