Job Description
The Network Engineer designs, implements, and maintains an organization's network infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and performs efficiently. Key responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, and firewalls; monitoring network performance; troubleshooting issues; and implementing security measures like firewalls and VPNs.
- Strong Knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Hands - on experience with FortiGate firewalls.
- Practical experience with Cisco, Huawei networking equipment
- Experience with MPLS, SD-WAN, Multiple ISPs, and VPN technologies.
- Knowledge of firewall policies, NAT, ACLS, network segmentation, and security monitoring.
- Familiarity with SNMP, Syslog, Packet analysis, and network monitoring tools.
- Experience with high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, and network security incident investigation.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex network issues and manage infrastructure upgrades
