Responsibility & Authority
Responsible for educating the patient and Treatment Supporter on DOTS, side effects and follow up.
Maintain patient record / DR – TB 01, History forms and other forms.
Assist the Chest Specialist / MDR TB Coordinator.
Maintain DRTB suspect register.
Proper transportation of Sputum and other specimens.
Keep track of all records of lab results and information to the MDRTB Coordinator / Focal Person and to the relevant BMUs.
Reports for any adverse effects due to due to medication for all patients / admitted / ambulatory cases.
Strictly follow infection control guidelines.
Assignment / tasks provided through Program Manager / MDR TB Coordinator.
