Job Description

General Job Objective

The Lab Technologist will be responsible to Sputum microscopy.

II.            Key Job Responsibilities

1.            Analyze laboratory findings.

2.            Check the accuracy of results.

3.            Operate and maintain all analyzers in T.B lab.

4.            Proper storage of bacterial cultures.

5.            Follow instructions of infection control and ISO.

6.            Instruct and train Juniors and Trainees

7.            Maintenance of MDR Data.

8.            Monthly maintenance of analyzers according to Maintenance Procedures

9.            Follow the instruction of Bio-safety and Bio-security.

10.          If any error/ problem occur in any analyzer, communication with supplier’s Biomedical Department and Engineers.

11.          Prepare all kinds of media.
