Job Description
.- Lead and execute routine mechanical maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and upgrades, to guarantee the continuous operation of mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Medical Gases) systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues, ensuring a swift response to minimize disruptions and maintain patient and staff safety.
- Continuously assess mechanical systems, identifying energy-saving opportunities, enhancing system reliability, and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Ensure all mechanical systems and work adhere to healthcare industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Play a key role in the emergency response team, providing technical expertise during critical incidents and ensuring prompt restoration.
- Manage mechanical maintenance projects from planning through execution, including resource allocation and coordination with contractors and other stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records of mechanical systems, maintenance activities, and compliance documentation.
- Provide guidance and training to maintenance personnel on mechanical system operations, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with maintenance teams, facility managers, and other stakeholders to address mechanical-related needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for equipment procurement, service contracts, and technology updates.
- Supervise and evaluate team performance and provide daily supervision.
- Perform all the related tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
