Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible to comply & implement all orders of the safety, security & environmental management / code of safety.
  2. As directed, participate, assist & investigate fire or suspected fire incidents etc.
  3. Responsible to retain evidence to solve fire safety issues.
  4. Responsible to maintain knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations related to fire safety / environmental safety.
  5. Perform as strong team member of “RRT" TIH team to prevent / handle fire incidents, rescue, evacuation safety, chemical safety, nuclear
    1. biological, radioactive material handing& tracking & waste disposal etc,
  6. Assist in handling, installation and training of fire safety panels, fire hydrants and fire hose reels.
  7. Responsible to assess a proper size-up (risk vs. gain) early into the operation, as directed by seniors.
  8. Responsible to comply & implement existing standard operating procedures (SOPs); in accordance with approved TIH safety & security manual.
  9. Responsible to take part in continuous fire safety staff training every month or as directed by seniors.
  10. Responsible to carry out staff fire safety trainings at outreach units, ąnd inspect fire safety apparatus / refilling and ensure expiry date stickers are fixed and maintaining of all records as directed by seniors.
  11. Responsible to inspect daily ali fire safety equipment at main campus (according to zone), and ensure that ali equipment’s are up to date, not expired, clean without dust and updated stickers are fixed and data is recorded.
  12. Responsible to perform daily campus facility rounds (by pedestrian or using firefighting motorbikes) as directed by seniors, assess campus fire hazard and communicate seniors, follow up corrective action and maintain visit log daily.
  13. Responsible to assist and participate in scheduled fire safety drills as directed by seniors and demonstrating the use of firefighting equipment to the hospital Staff.
  14. Inspecting Fire equipment and carry out safety rounds with fire safety uniforms including complying PPE, s in hospital campus aS advised by seniors.
  15. Responsible to minimizes fire damage by responding to alarms; operating firefighting equipment; regulating water pressure; combating and extinguishing fires; rescuing and reviving people.
  16. Responsible to ensure that TIH code of conduct SOP is strictly observed during assigned duty, failure, may result strict disciplinary action in accordance with HR policy.
  17. Responsible to maintaining all documentation and providing summary reports daily / monthly to seniors.
  18. Any other task assigned by safety & security department management.
