o The Driver is responsible to provide timely transportation of staff and
patients between their home address, hospital or other treatment centers. He is
also responsible for carrying of ships and ensuring that the vehicles are
properly maintained.
o Ensure the movements of staff and the driving of vehicles following
strictly the driving regulation and the security/safety rules.
o Complete the assigned task after observing all the formalities and
permission of supervisor.
o In case of request received from two departments simultaneously, follow
the instructions of the supervisor who will approve the first depending upon
the need & urgency.
o Convey allocated patients and escorts to and from home address, to and
from hospital or other treatment centers and between hospitals, other treatment
centers or care facilities in a professional and caring manner.
o Drive safely, respecting speed limits as well as the Pakistani’s
regulations in force, in order to ensure the safety of the vehicle, the
passengers, the goods shipped and the third parts.
o React quickly to any emergency situation on road.
o Supervise adequate and safety loading/offloading of goods and assist if
needed.
o Ensure adequate and safety shipment of goods from departure to
destination.
o Transfer the waybills/delivery note from shipper to consignee and return
the signed version to the shipper.
Maintenance and
monitoring:
o Ensure the good condition of vehicle(s).
o Keep the vehicle tidy at all times (in and out).
o Ensure the adequate monitoring and maintenance of the vehicle(s).
o Ensure regular technical checks as defined by organization internal
policy.
o Check all essential equipment’s and tools are onboard of the vehicle(s)
and in working condition
o Make specific check before departure and anticipate quantities.
o Duly and timely fill the Logbook.
o Report all technical problems/damages to his/her direct supervisor.
o Report all general or security problems to his/her direct supervisor.
o Maintain a high standard of vehicle and equipment service ability,
cleanliness in line with the care quality
standards and permanent readiness in the event of
major incident.
o Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly in accordance
with service instructions.
o Report vehicle accidents, incidents and near misses in a timely and
accurate manner.
o Perform all tasks as assigned by the supervisor/management.
