Job Description
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Act as training coordinator of Operating Rooms.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures regarding Operating Rooms.
- Handle operational affairs of OR.
- Responsible for maintaining and running OR appropriately and efficiently.
- Manage all OR staff and their duty roster, leaves etc.
- Maintain Operation theater equipment and their premises & coordinate with Biomedical & maintenance department.
- Monitor procurement, repair & maintenance of Operating Rooms.
- Arrange staff duties on days when city situation causes disruption.
- Responsible for maintaining the stock & periodic auditing.
- Prepare capital budget requirement of OR with the help of Surgery, Biomedical & Anesthesia team & forward CAPEX committee.
- Monitor the volumes, utilization OR with consultation with chair of OR committee.
- Review & evaluate patient safety , suggest changes required in system.
- Conduct management review committee meeting.
- Carry out any other task assigned by Chair, ORC.
