  • Responsible and coordinate and direct activities such as: staff assistance with patient restraint and intervention in disruptions by patients, visitors and staff; traffic control; guard and patrol physical property; escort service for visitors and staff; monitor systems response; orient and monitor personnel working in high risk areas; and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.
  • Responsible to implement security procedures and compliance with hospital policies and procedures and applicable laws.
  • Responsible to review and evaluate reports prepared by security staff regarding investigations of reports criminal activities and present to immediate HOD.
  • Conduct follow-up investigation of reports of criminal activity in according with system.
  • Responsible to analyze traffic and parking problems and make recommendations for new or revised programs, policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain all records and documentation involving day to day security.
  • Responsible to resolve patient / staff problems and needs by utilizing multi-disciplinary team strategies.
  • Participate in HOD meetings as directed by immediate HOD.
  • Responsible to ensure staff monthly duty roster is developed and approved by immediate HOD.
  • Supervise security personnel, participate in the interviewing and selection of applicants for employment, review employee performance recommend promotion and salary adjustment, and apply hospital and personnel policy to daily operations in consultation with immediate HOD.
  • Supervise and conduct security / fire safety awareness programs for the hospital staff including new employee orientation, department in-service, as well as the security staff continuing education and maintain all records.
  • Responsible to coordinate with representatives of local government to ensure cooperation and coordination of hospital activities with law enforcement and firefighting agencies.
  • Intervene whenever conditions exist that pose an immediate threat to life or health, or poses a threat to equipment of the facility.
  • Responsible to provide daily briefing related to current issues, incidents including recommended course of action to immediate HOD
  • Responsible to ensure that Indus code of conduct / confidentiality of sensitive issues is strictly followed and code of conduct breach will result serious disciplinary action.
  • Responsible to recommend new procedures and approaches to safety and loss prevention based on reports of incidents, accidents, and other relevant information on monthly basis.
  • Responsible to control & monitor TIH staff transport (including outsource) and staff housing activities in accordance with TIH SOP,s.
  • Measures and evaluate effectiveness of security &safety program, transport & housing using established goals.
  • Ensure all instructions from the Manager Administration are implemented.
  • Periodically conduct trainings for security supervisors, guards, drivers and firefighting staff highlighting the importance of services.
  • Perform all tasks assigned by the management.
