Experience

BA/BSc social sciences/nursing/other related field, 2. Training in public health/BScN preferred/midwifery preferred

Job Description

1. Support senior manager maternal health in provision of oversight to midwifery programs in PCP South as required
2. Support MNCH manager and director in oversight of public health programs at Sindh sites including FP, malnutrition, immunization and others as needed.
3. Conduct site visits and needs assessment for potential MNCH sites
4. Development and implementation of MEAL tools for quality control
5. Ongoing training and development and skills assessment and management for CMWs
6. Management of data and analysis
7. Monitoring visits to Midwifery ANC clinics, Labor rooms and public health sites as needed
8. Strengthening and engagement with referral networks at MNCH program sites at PCP clinics
9. Assist in curriculum and content development at midwifery program sites for CMEs of midwives and MNCH community health workers
10. Public health program development and management with MNCH team: lactation, family planning, nutrition in pregnancy, postnatal home visits etc.
11. Liase with Midwifery coordinator North, Research Associate Midwifery, and MNCH team as needed
