Job Description
- Responsible to take complete history, physical examination and stabilize all admitted patients and start treatment according to Neonatology protocols or as advised by consultant.
- Responsible to respond immediately if called for Resuscitation or any neonatal emergency at ER.
- Patients Clinical summaries should be documented in all shifts i.e. morning, evening and night and any serious event should also be documented.
- They will be responsible to fulfill instructions given by consultant.
- They will perform clinical procedures like LP, exchange transfusion according to NICU policy after consulting departmental head.
- Responsible to prescribe home medication.
- All out born neonates will be admitted according to admission policy.
- All leaves should be taken with prior intimation to concerned authority/HOD.
- Any other task assigned by the HOD
