1. Responsible for start time and sign off duty utilizing TIH attendance system as well as HK-Pest control manual attendance system located within the HP department.
2. Be in correct designated / approved uniform including PPEs / TIH ID card while on duty.
3. Verifies routine tasks, fumigation frequency or special assignments with immediate supervisor.
4. Ensures availability of pest control supplies needed for entire shift i.e. Pest control chemicals, PPEs, petrol, diesel, Glue Plates, rats & mouse cages, cockroach Gel, and Mortein spray etc.
Checks pest control equipment i.e. Gloria Pump, Thermal Fogger and Jet Fogger prior to usage to ensure correct and safe operation.
6. Responsible to ensure that Indus code of conduct / confidentiality is strictly followed and code of conduct breach will result dismissal from service.
7. Maintain 100% accurate and complete daily records of pest control activities as per established pest control system and make sure all records are safe.
8. Utilizes all pest control equipment i.e. Gloria Pump, Thermal Fogger and Jet Fogger, following all safe work practices as per established HK-Pest control protocols.
9. Performing pest control duties in a safe manner by utilizing established HK pest control safety practices & procedures and always ensure safe appllcation of chemical pesticides.
10. Responsible to inspect all installed trapped at various TIH locations on daily basis i.e. rodent, cat & dog cages / glue plates etc. and immediately remove & transport all trapped / dead rodent / alive animals like dogs / cats and dispose of them at designated area in consultation with transport department and document.
11. Provide mosquito/tlies control throughout the breeding season to keep the mosquito/flies population below the critical levels
12. Utilizes all ’NIH IC Approved” pest control chemicals as per protocol, always mindful of safe and correct practices and protocols / use of correct PPEs / follow hand wash protocol, before and after completion of pest control/fumigation tasks.
13. Ensures all used pest control/fumigation equipment i.e. Gloria Pump, Thermal Fogger and Jet Fogger is left in clean and operable condition for next shift as per HK-pest control protocols.
14. Report any lost and found item from hospital during assigned tasks to immediate supervisor and forward to Safety & Security department.
