Job Description
- Coordinates, arranges and supervises the completion of corrective and preventive maintenance of Generators, UPS, Battery banks, HT/LT Panels, Transformer, elevators, Nurse Call System, Building Management System, Incinerator/Waste Management system etc in accordance with company operating procedures practices and financial considerations.
- Develops preventative maintenance procedures that are cost effective and increase the operational life of the equipment
- Helps to maintain a safe campus environment by ensuring all Fire Protection Systems such as fire alarm system, fire panels, smoke/heat detectors and pumps are maintained in accordance with the applicable National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA).
- Assists the Manager Maintenance regarding the improvement of campus utility-related facilities by developing long-range plans for upgrading systems within the area of responsibility and recommending replacement of equipment/pipe lines within the area of responsibility. ·
- To keep good liaison with the vendor for effective execution of Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) of all machinery of the department ·
- To ensure and outsource work is done as per BOQ/ scope of work. · Ensure all BDM, PPM, Inspection WOs and others are being done, are as per department policy. ·
- To ensure daily logs and reports are being prepared to record daily activities as per department policies. ·
- Ensure safety rules are being followed at work place. ·
- Training of junior team members
