Job Description
- Transcribe MRI reports, CT reports, ultrasounds, and x-rays medical documents from recorded messages from Radiologists and sonologists.
- Be familiar with proper grammar, spelling and sentence structure as well as medical jargon and abbreviations for accuracy.
- Prepare correspondence, summaries, research and other administrative reports not directly related to patient care in order to assist medical team.
- Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality according to provider standards and government regulations
- Take dictation using either shorthand or a stenotype machine, or using headsets and transcribing machines; then convert dictated materials or rough notes to written form.
- To perform clerical as well as administrative work as required by the department.
- To assist Radiologists/consultant in completing their online researches.
- Having good knowledge of transcription tools and equipment and good command on using and maintaining them.
- Any other task assigned by Head of Department or immediate supervisor.
