Job Description
Under the direction of seniors, supervise all activities and ensure its smooth and efficient functioning. Take independent action to establish own short range plans within scope of hospital policy and effectively following the rules as per Infection Control Department and The Indus Hospital Policy.
REGULAR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform and supervise both routine and specialized tests.
- Assure all kinds of quality control checks on daily basis.
- Monitoring departments inventory and stock
- Inform all abnormal result to related doctors/staff/assist manager / manager
- Proper storage of abnormal results
- If any error / problem occur in any analyzer , communication with suppliers biomedical department and engineers
- Issuance of reports
- Rejection of tests if required
- Rejection of samples on certain criteria prescribed in SOPs
- Repetition of test if required
- Analyze laboratory findings.
- Check the accuracy of results
- Calibrate and operate all instruments in the hematology Lab
- Responsible for audits.
PERIODIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (Monthly Quarterly, Biannually, Annual)
- Maintenance of stock of kits, consumables etc.
- Maintenance of Data
- Monthly maintenance of analyzers according to Maintenance Procedures.
- Weekly maintenance log
- Weekly / Monthly Indent
