Job Description
- Strategic planning and overall management of the program and targets
- Monitoring and evaluation of the program
- Hiring and supervision of team members to ensure compliance with program guidelines
- Managing the training component of SCP (training of health providers & family medicine residents)
- Managing a team of health workers with encouragement and motivation
- Developing enrolment forms, brochures, informative material, posters, etc. for information dissemination
- Setting up the ‘Safe Circumcision Clinic’ and ensuring that it runs smoothly, including coordination with all relevant departments for day-to-day program functioning
- Developing and managing budgets
- Ensuring up-to-date expense reporting in coordination with the finance department
- Procurement of program assets and consumables
- Correspondence with relevant departments to ensure the smooth running of the program
- Managing, monitoring, and analyzing research data
- Liaising with program donors for program updates and funds
- Organizing program related events/ workshops
- Developing the structure for expanding SCP into the community
- Planning and working towards replication of SCP in other IHHN facilities
- Supervision of the replicated clinics (once functional) through field visits and distance monitoring
- Developing a codebook for SCP to implement electronic data entry
- Supervising the transition from paper forms to electronic data entry
- Responsible for all programmatic research, grant writing, and data management of both programs
- Preparing monthly reports and presentations
- Manuscript writing
