Job Description
- Collect / remove food waste, garbage from the food processing / preparation areas; dispose of food waste and ensure the food service facility meets FSD cleaning standards.
- Clean and sanitize washing sinks, preparation and service counters, and all kitchen / bakery equipment including pots, pans, utensils, exhaust hoods etc.
- Wash and clean all used dishes and utensils from cafeterias, patient meal trays, lunch boxes etc; load/unload dishwashers, and ensure all clean items are stored in the designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in cafeterias; wash and clean tables, chairs, utensils and all other items as directed by the duty supervisor.
- Transport bulk food and trolleys; assist in the physical arrangement of the cafeteria and serving of meals at official events or in the cafeteria.
- Provide food replenishment/ short order delivery during serving hours as assigned by supervisor / team lead.
- Handle / deliver cooked bulk food to cafeteria / service outlets / offices on campus /off campus facility (including food transportation/physical setting/serving food to customers as directed by supervisor
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, snacks food, staff food at the cafeteria customer service counter / official catering or as per the supervisor/team leader’s / direction / instructions.
- Assist in the pre-processing raw foods such as washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits / cleaning washing meat (all types) as directed by duty cook / baker / duty supervisor/team leader.
- Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor / head of department.
