Clinical Task
- Check the complete vital signs including height, weight, pain score and report warning signs to the physician
- Do verbal screening to identify high-risk patient s and patients with communicable diseases.
- Perform rapid testing as ordered by doctor.
- Facilitate virtual doctor-patient interaction by positioning and exposing the patient appropriately for teleconsultation
- Assist Online doctor in physical examination as needed, provide routine medical services such as wound dressing and routine care as directed by the online doctor.
- Follow doctor’s orders for each patient as prescribed; clarify concerns with prescribed treatment.
- Perform IV cannulation of patients following Infection control policy if needed.
- Administer medication by following rights of medications if needed.
- Translate patient’s concerns during teleconsultation if required.
- Ensure patients and their families understand instructions provided by doctor.
- Guide or redirect patients to different departments of clinic after teleconsultation, as appropriate.
- Provide health education according to the need of the patient.
- Assist in making teleconsultation appointments when necessary.
Administrative/Technical Task
- Learn how to use information systems and maintain accurate written information
- Safely transfer the patients when required.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Ensure all clinics, floor stock, emergency kit, are updated, expiry is maintained and medication kept in clean cabinet.
- Ensure the medical supply is well stocked to meet requirements, properly stored and readily available.
- Report untoward occurrences or incidents related to patients, staff, and visitors in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment; comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Discuss any difficulties with CNI/Nursing Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned and individual is qualified to perform.
- Maintain cleanliness of medical equipment, check for PPM and raise complaint for faulty equipment and for PPMs.
- Work as a team leader of the PCP facility and accountable for patient safety.
