Job Description
- To ensure patient care, which complies with medical / legal requirements.
- To collaborate with and consult all those engaged in the management of patients.
- To provide counseling & deal with the complicated patients wherever required.
- To communicate appropriate information to the patients and their families.
- To clarify the procedures to patients and their families at the time of registration, including various steps, expected duration of the treatment, waiting time and expected complications or delays that may arise during treatment, follow up procedures as well as care and hygiene of the stump and device.
- To coordinate the rehabilitation services provided to the patients in different sections of the PRC.
- To ensure that patient consent and checkout forms are filled and duly signed by the patients.
- To ensure the patient records are complete in all respects including BFTA forms as per ICRC requirements. To maintain records of patients engaged / volunteered for trainings, demonstrations, seminars,
- disability days etc and ensure their in-time availability when required.
- To record expectations, complaints, suggestions of patients and process them to the concerned staff / Center Manager.
- To play an active role in organizing center’s events which include patients e.g. disability day etc
- Maintain patient communication records including photographs (with & without appliances) &ensure completion of patient consent and checkout forms with the signatures of the patient and the concerned P&O or physiotherapist.
- To ensure patient activities areas in order clean and patient friendly.
- To ensure food is properly served to the patients in time and in a proper manner.
- Any other related duties assigned to her considered suitable by the Center Manager related to facilitation of patients, event management, data collection, report writing, supervision of supportive staff or at times may be asked to replace receptionist when she is on leave.
