Job Description
- To assist staff in all procedures
- Assist in sterilization of equipment based on Infection Prevention guidelines.
- Ensure waste disposal according to standard protocols
- Performed all activities related to the cleanliness of the facility.
- Washing patients related linen and towels
- Preparation of Chlorine solution daily for disinfection
- Attend to and assist patient during all stages of labour.
- Assist Medical supervisor and inform labour progress including vitals.
- Give the necessary supervision care and advice to women during pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period.
- Conduct deliveries independently at the facility and community levels.
- Provide primary care to women of reproductive age.
- Share knowledge skills with midwifery, medical, and nursing students regarding pregnancy and childbirth.
- Participate in research, professional organization, and related communities.
- Participate in the provision of 24/7 maternity service which may require evening/night or on-call duty.
- Any task assigned by the supervisor.
