Job Description
- Responsible for installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs systems that deliver medical gases like oxygen, medical air, vacuum and BHUs, AVSUs etc. ensuring patient safety and compliance with strict regulations.
- Conduct leak tests, pressure checks, and monitor gauges and displays to ensure proper system operation and gas purity and equipped to prevent disruptions to healthcare services.
- Be on-call for emergency to address system failures or gas supply interruptions that could affect patient care.
- Monitor and manage cylinder inventory, ensuring a sufficient supply of gases like oxygen, medical air, etc.
- Record inspection results, test findings, and maintenance activities in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with facility staff, clinical personnel to coordinate maintenance and resolve issues promptly.
