Job Description

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide leadership in the design and development of concept notes/project proposals, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and requirements in the health sector landscape of Pakistan.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize and implement project activities, leveraging expertise in project management to ensure successful execution within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor and evaluate project implementation progress, identifying challenges and opportunities for adaptation or refinement to enhance project effectiveness and impact.
  • Serve as a focal point for communication and coordination with donors, partners, and relevant stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and representing the organization's interests in the health sector context of Pakistan.
  • Provide technical back-stopping to the program / IPs.
  • Responsible for effective and efficient projects implementation as per goals and targets.
  • Work closely with relevant government line departments and partners.
  • Share responsibility for managing the field teams / IPs in line with the implementation goals and targets.
  • Make regular visits to the field; carry out process monitoring and provide feedback and support for achieving the desired results in a timely and quality fashion.
  • Coordinate with MEAL team for proper documentation, data collection and monitoring of project deliverables.
  • Support in preparation of high-quality donor and other periodic narrative reports as and when required.
  • Ensure proper project documentation and support initiatives for program visibility and other requirements.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor.
