Job Description

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manager Program, Training and Communication will oversee the overall program management aspects, ensuring that all trainings and communication activities are aligned with the grant proposal and work-plan objectives. He/She will coordinate planning, implementation, and evaluation of all activities to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.

 

Program

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for program activities, aligning them with overall organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with district-level teams to ensure alignment of activities with program objectives and facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Establish robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track progress, identify challenges, and ensure program effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular reviews of activities, analyze data and feedback to inform decision-making and optimize program performance.
  • Regular-on going documentation and reporting on program activities
  • Liaise with the CHD programs at national and provincial level 
  • Keeping updated record of all relevant activities at federal, provincial and district levels
  • Maintain constant communication and coordination with all provincial and district staff for coordinating program activities, training process and BCC activities and ensuring quality
  • Represent the program at important forums as well as participate in technical working teams at national level with partners.

 

Training

  • Develop the training plan in line with the overall work plan.
  • Ensure execution of all training activities as per the approved work-plan.
  • Reviewing and approving district’s training plan and coordinating and responding timely.
  • Design and conduct the training sessions/workshops based on the plan and prepare the training reports as per grant and donor requirements
  • Compile, select and modify training materials/aids/data
  • Ensure the distribution of training material and aids with appropriate feedback and guidelines to the provincial/district coordinators and the respective training facilitators
  • Provide appropriate feedback on training activities being conducted with a view to improve and integrate training process.
  • Meetings with the resource persons for training as and when required
  • Review and refine the training manual for standardized training module
  • Capacity Building of the district and provincial level staff as needed.

 

Communication

  • Ensure execution of all BCC activities as per the approved work-plan.
  • Provide appropriate feedback on BCC activities being conducted with a view to improve and integrate the process.
  • Coordinate with the provincial and district staff as well as the SRs for effective and efficient implementation of BCC outreach activities.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of activities involving print and electronic media
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of activities involving print and electronic media as per work plan for relevant time period.
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor
